Questions, answered

How much do I use?

Mix 1 part Sweet Leaf castings to 4 parts potting soil, or top-dress with a quarter-inch layer and water in. For existing plants, apply 1 to 2 tablespoons around the drip line monthly.

Can I use it on edibles?

Yes. Sweet Leaf castings are OMRI Listed organic and safe for vegetables, herbs, fruit, and edible plants of all kinds. Free of synthetic chemicals.

Is there a smell?

No. Unlike raw manure or compost, properly processed worm castings are virtually odorless. You can use them indoors without any unpleasant smell.

How long does a bag last?

A 2 lb bag treats roughly 8 to 12 houseplants (top-dress method) or makes about 4 quarts of amended soil mix. The 5 lb bag extends that 2.5 times over. Bags keep for up to 2 years stored sealed and cool.
